Close calls & summer plans.
In rejection news, I interviewed for a gig at KQED and was a finalist for the sweet Hub City residency in South Carolina, although ultimately offers were made to other candidates. I received a personal rejection (?!) from the Atlantic (?!), and a form rejection from The Sun.
Taking off in August for a road trip from St. Louis all the way up to Vermont for the Bread Loaf Writers Conference. As totally dreamy as Oakland is in summer, I can. not. wait! for the open road, green hills, and luscious humidity.
