Giant thank you's to dear lit-friendz who hosted us in Chicago (Matthew Kelsey & Lindsay Garbutt) & Madison (Jordan Jacks & Crystal Willer) on the post-Loaf road trip. Back in Oakland, I'm off to a fresh re-start: interviewing for jobs, writing for Westword and Jackson Hole News & Guide, and working on a query for agents.
In good news, Day One accepted a story that's very close to me, "Somebody Gets Hurt," which I first drafted in 2006. (Day One is Amazon's lit mag, and for despite or due to that corporation's sins, it pays better than anything else.) Also, I'm on the alternate list for a Djerassi residency in 2018.
