I don't have news that warrants this type of celebration, but I aim for it.
Since departing dear Hub City, I went to Baltimore, bought a house, went to a Kurt Vonnegut festival, spent a month with beloveds in Oakland/San Francisco, and moved across the country. I got some rejections, but I can hardly remember them.
Also, I covered Ryan Adams' delightful jingle-writing bender for Colorado media outlets -- including my own Westword.
And I reviewed the "surprise" joint album from the Carters -- aka Beyonce and JAY-Z -- for Consequence of Sound, which publishes its reviews as podcasts.
